2. Data We Collect

When you use STEPLAND, we may collect:

Device data: model, operating system, language and regional settings.

Advertising identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID) or IDFA, used to display and measure ads.

IP address and connection data.

Usage data: app openings, progress, recorded habits, purchases, rewards, interactions with ads.

Game progress: saved locally or on servers.

Physical activity (steps): only if you grant permission through Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Operate the app: personalize your experience, show progress, and improve stability and security.

Display advertising: show relevant ads, measure performance, and prevent ad fraud.

Analytics: analyze usage, retention, and attribute installs to campaigns.

Health integrations: sync steps and activity if you consent.

If you decline personalized advertising, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your profile.

4. Advertising and Tracking

We and our advertising partners may use your data to track you across apps and websites for advertising purposes. You can limit this through your device settings:

iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking

Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with third-party providers that help us operate STEPLAND, display ads, and measure results. These include advertising networks, analytics services, and backend infrastructure providers. Each processes data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Health Data

If you enable Health Connect or Apple Health, STEPLAND only accesses the step data you authorize. You can revoke this access anytime in your device settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Accounts inactive for 180 days or more may be deleted along with associated data.

8. Data Security

We use standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your information.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. We take steps to ensure adequate protection wherever data is processed.

STEPLAND is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Users aged 13-18 must have parental permission.

On first launch, we ask for your privacy preferences. You can change these anytime in the app settings.

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of important changes within the app.
